Alexea G. Karpinski Memorial Scholarship

2024 SCHOLARSHIP ELIGIBILITY
Applicants must be current New Jersey residents and enrolled as a Senior in a NJ high school, graduating in June 2024 and enrolling full-time in an accredited undergraduate program/school, technical/vocational training, or the military. Minimum grade point average for eligibility is 3.5. A Coach’s reference along with their contact information is required. Submissions must be received by April 15, 2024.
NOTE for Hunterdon Central High School applicants: please use the scholarship form and guidelines that you will receive from your school.
AMOUNT
Award amount varies depending upon the number of eligible applicants and funds available. Minimum award is $2253.00.
AWARD NOTIFICATIONS
For Senior athletes at Hunterdon Central Regional High School, awards will be announced and distributed at the school scholarship ceremony in June 2024.
For all other NJ applicants, winners to be notified in late April via email and encouraged to attend the Iron Girl Project 5K in May to receive their award in person.

All scholarship funds are generated through events organized and run by Iron Girl Project, Inc as well as donations from individuals and businesses.
Selections will be made by the IGP board and scholarship committee in a majority vote. Topics are chosen each year that embody the mission of Alexea “Lex” Karpinski as described throughout IGP website.
